MAT using Buprenorphine
Buprenorphine is an opioid that is used to support opioid addiction therapy. It helps our patients who are in active addiction to avoid difficult detoxing. Dosage is carefully controlled and gradually reduced over time, to allow patients a gradual weaning process rather than an abrupt “cold turkey” experience.
